Nikon shooter, Jay Maisel along with Canon Explorer of Light, Seth Resnick.
Both Jay and Seth have been shooting exclusively digital and both possess
and share a passion for the business of photography. This dynamic pair will
teach 15 students as a team the transition to digital, correct workflow, and
how to capture the quintessential image not seen with the naked eye in the
magnificent setting of Sedona and Oak Creek Canyon in Northern Arizona.
Let the beautiful sunrise and sunsets of Sedona inspire your creative vision
while two masters of the color world help you paint with light.

This one-week intensive workshop, led by President of EP Seth Resnick, will
focus on how to run your digital photography business in the current world
environment, while enhancing creative processes, business skills and
technique during this week long adventure. The group will explore the
intricacies of digital lighting, filtration and color seeking to create
images that go beyond what the senses normally perceive, opening up new
worlds. The focus will be on both creative and technical skills. The program
will incorporate role playing to teach the subtle art of negotiating a good
deal, explore the latest in workflow, archiving, meta data, releases,
contracts, and presentation methods, copyright and discuss the implications
of both traditional and digital delivery. The program will be run from the
perspective of a magazine assignment with each participant developing a story
so they will leave the week with a cohesive body of work. Seth will offer
guidance with personalized contacts and marketing information, seeking to
place successful projects in a broad array of worldwide travel publications.
